Peng-Fei Zhang （张鹏飞）

Research (equivalent to Full Professor) of Computer Science and Technology

I am currently a Researcher (equivalent to Full Professor) at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Tongji University, and a recipient of the Shanghai Magnolia Overseas High-Level Young Talent Program. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the MM Lab at The University of Queensland, where I was mentored by Professor Zi (Helen) Huang(IEEE Fellow, ACM Fellow, ARC Future Fellow), a leading scholar in Data Science, and Professor Hongzhi Yin.

My research interests lie in spatial intelligence, multimodal information processing, and the security and robustness of multimodal models. To date, I have published over 30 papers in top-tier venues, including SIGIR, ACM MM, CVPR, TOIS, TKDE, and TMM. Among these, 11 are first-author papers in CCF-A venues, with one recognized as an ESI Highly Cited Paper, and I have also received a Best Paper Award. I have contributed as a core member to several major research projects, including the Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Program, the ARC Centre of Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Program. I also serve as a reviewer for leading journals and conferences such as TPAMI, TDSC, CVPR, ACM MM, and SIGIR, and have been involved in organizing international conferences, including ACM MMAsia.
